Yesterday we passed through the historic town of Westbury, it was first settle 195 years ago and is full of lovely old houses and churches and the Village greene is breath taking, lots of old Oak,sycamore, redwoods and Plane trees . Then it was on to Cradle Mountain via Mount Roland.

What a beautiful and challenging walk we had around Dove Lake At Cradle Mountain, so diverse, Alpine Heath, Rain forest, Piney woods and hot dry Glacier rocky hills, thank goodness a third of it is board walk,
just to make up for the tough rocky tracks and wire grate bridges. Angelica came face to face with a Tiger snake, super deadly, but she was super cool and froze till it passed, so proud of her. The weather sure changes here fast cold and icy wind, then hot then cool and cloudy, there were icy showers when we arrived yesterday and this whole area was covered in snow only 4 weeks ago and its summer, so worth the trip, will come back again for sure, So many beautiful walks to enjoy.
